Gentle Tools to Help Children Understand, Name, and Regulate Their Emotions
Trauma-informed printable toolkits for children aged 4–18. Supporting parents, teachers, and therapists — one gentle step at a time.
About Gentle Paths Toolkits
At Gentle Paths Toolkits, we create gentle, trauma-informed printable resources to support children’s social and emotional development through life’s big and small challenges.
We began with tools to help children understand, name, and regulate their emotions, and we are steadily building a wide collection of practical resources for parents, teachers, and therapists. Our toolkits now cover — and will continue to grow into — important areas such as managing friendships, navigating social media, coping with bereavement, dealing with difficult family situations (including domestic abuse and parental mental health), building resilience, and developing healthy self-worth.
Every resource is created with care, empathy, and a deep respect for how complex growing up can be. We believe children need tools that feel safe, hopeful, and approachable rather than clinical or overwhelming. Whether a child is learning to identify feelings, repair a friendship, process grief, or simply feel more secure in themselves, our printables offer practical support in a warm and compassionate way.
